Killeen ISD continues to closely monitor the spread of Coronavirus COVID-19. KISD is also in continuous communication with the Bell County Health District, the CDC, and officials at Fort Hood to coordinate our efforts. We have created this webpage to continue to provide updates to our KISD Community as information becomes available.‚Äč

04/17/2020 - 12:30 p.m.:  Returning student preregistration, as well as Pre-K and Kindergarten Round Up registration, is now open!
Please click here for more information and to register your child for the 2020-2021 school year.

04/17/2020 - 12:30 p.m.:  Parents, Killeen ISD will be providing preregistration for current students online for the 20-21 school year. We are combining the required documents into one online portal, which is taking longer than anticipated. Therefore, online preregistration for current students and PreK and Kindergarten Round Up for new students will be delayed until Wednesday, May 20.

04/28/2020 - 7:10 p.m.:  Pick Up of Student Possessions Plan for Elementary Schools: Thank you for your patience over the past few weeks. Even though COVID-19 altered our traditional end of year processes, we want to give you an opportunity to collect your child's school supplies, so he/she will be able to use them over the summer. Please send one (1) adult family member to your child's school on Monday, May 11, 2020, or Tuesday, May 12, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m to pick up supplies.  Also, please gather all library books, textbooks, guided reading books that may have been checked out from the campus, musical instruments, and all learning packets from home and bring those with you to campus to turn those items into the designated areas.

It is imperative that we make every effort to keep all community members safe; therefore, we highly encourage wearing some form of masks and will be allowing no more than 6 adults to enter at a time to maintain social distancing.  Thanks in advance for your cooperation and please call or email your child's principal with questions or concerns.
