SB 1697 which provides the opportunity for parents to formally request that their child repeat a grade or course.  Attached is the signed, KISD translated senate bill 1697 letter to parents and the TEA Formal Request to Repeat a Grade fillable form in English and Spanish

8th GRADE PARENTS 4 YEAR PLAN APPROVAL LINK !

Parents of 8^th grade students. It is the time to prepare your 8^th grader for high school. Your student has a 4 year plans that must be approved by you. Please use the directions below for the approval process.

1.  The parent(s) must register their Naviance acct.  Codes were sent out via email.
2. Parents when you login, you will select Courses, from the drop-down menu, Manage Course Plans, select the Foundation High School Plans w/ Endorsements.  There is a disclaimer at the top of the screen, parents to type in your name and select I Approve, or I Do Not ApprovE
