Mrs. Abigail Church

My name is Abbey Church, and this is my second year at Timber Ridge Elementary School.  I am excited to be a part of Killeen ISD for the upcoming year as an administrator in charge of 3^rd to 5^th grade. I started my educational journey by receiving my bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech in the field of Vocal Performance.  From there, I went on to receive my first master’s degree from Liberty University in the field of Special Education and my second master’s degree from Drexel University in Teaching, Learning, and Curriculum. I began teaching in Hawaii in 2011 and have had the opportunity to teach special education, general education, serve as an academic coach and assistant principal throughout the US and Germany over the last 10 years. I am married and have three beautiful children, two rambunctious dogs, and a persnickety cat.  We are a very adventurous family and love going to state and national parks to see the beauty of the world around us.
