Announcements

  • Transportation Delays

We appreciate your patience as we work through the usual transportation delays associated with the start of a new school year.  As the week progresses and classroom dismissal procedures become routine, bus delays will diminish.  Again thank you for your patience.

  • Pardon our Lawn
Due to the excessive rainfall, mowing our lawns would cause more damage and increase grounds efforts to repair the lawns.   Our grounds team will continue their efforts in maintaining the curb appeal of KISD per the published schedule (Grounds Mowing Schedule).  Once the ground dries enough to support the grounds care vehicles and equipment, we will trim back the growth that the much needed rains brought to Central Texas.  Thank you for your patience in this matter.

  • 11th ANNUAL AMERICA SUPPORTS YOU - FREEDOM WALK

The 'America Supports You - Freedom Walk' is a national tradition that calls on people to reflect on the lives lost on September 11, 2001, remember those who responded, honor our veterans past and present, and renew our commitment to freedom and the values of our country. We will never forget ... We remember ... Walk with us ... Celebrate freedom ... and remember ... Together.

The Freedom Walk takes place on September 9th 9:30a.m @ Killeen High School Gymnasium 500 N. 38th Street, Killeen, TX. For questions call Community Relations @ (254)336-1707.
