Killeen ISD Appoints Chief Human Resources Officer

Killeen ISD Superintendent Dr. John Craft announced the hiring of Jessica Neyman, to serve as the Chief Human Resources Officer for the district. Neyman will oversee the full scope of employee recruitment, hiring and retention to managing performance and facilitating employee engagement.

Ms. Neyman has dedicated ten years of her career to various Human Resources departments and provided legal representation for districts across the nation. She will be transitioning from her current position as Director of Human Resources in Georgetown ISD and will join the KISD family on February 18, 2020. Neyman served on the GISD's leadership team, overhauled the process for family and medical leave, ADA, and worker’s compensation procedures. Previous to her service at Georgetown ISD, Neyman served as district legal counsel for the North Clackamas School District in Milwaukie, Oregon.

Throughout her career, she has developed and implemented numerous district policies in compliance with Federal and State employment laws.

Ms. Neyman attained her Juris Doctorate from the University of San Diego School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from Dartmouth College where she majored in Psychology and minored in Sociology. She also holds her Superintendent Certification in the state of Texas.

Superintendent Dr. John Craft said, “Ms. Neyman has demonstrated her abilities and knowledge in handling the many facets of the Human Resources Department. Her intuition and ability to develop relationships and forge win-win situations will benefit the many departments she and her team will support. We are excited for Ms. Neyman to join the KISD team next month.”
