PebbleGo
PebbleGo is a student-friendly resource designed for beginning researchers. We subscribe to the Animals and Biographies Databases. To log into PebbleGo, please log in through Clever.

World Book Online
World Book Online has research tools that include encyclopedia articles, primary source collections, pictures, audio materials, videos and much more. World Book Online has 3 levels: Kids, Students, and Advanced. Students may log in using kisd122. Please email Mrs. D'Amore or call 254-336-2166 for the password. 

Kids InfoBits
This online resource is designed for Kindergarten through 5th grade students. It contains reference content on various topics such as geography, current events, the arts, science, health, people, government, history, and sports. It also includes magazine articles for elementary students, has ReadSpeaker text-to-speech technology and citation tools. Students will only need a password to access this online resource. Please email Mrs. D'Amore at dina.damore@killeenisd.org or visit her in the library for this password. 

National Geographic Kids
On this site, students will find the National Geographic Kids magazine from 2009 to present. There are also 200 National Geographic Kids books, numerous videoclips and 500 kid-friendly, downloadable images. Students in the 1st - 5th grades will find this online resource very helpful.  Students will only need a password to access this online resource. The same password works for this resource & Kids InfoBits.

Britannica School
Within this resource, students will find "encyclopedia articles, multimedia, primary sources, games and other learning resources" that are leveled by age, current and safe. Please use j014906 for the user name, and a password is available through Mrs. D'Amore at dina.damore@killeenisd.org. You may visit her in the library for this password.

ProQuest SIRS Discoverer
Within this new resource, students at the elementary & middle school level will be able to locate articles from over 2,200 magazine & newspaper sources and over 9,000 websites. Articles address every part of the curriculum, including current events, history, science, math, technology, health and language arts. Username is j014906, and please see Mrs. D for your password. 
 
New York Times
We now have a school-wide digital subscription to The New York Times.  All students, teachers and staff have full access within the school building -- just by visiting NYTimes.comIf you are looking for current events, then this is the place to go.
