Killeen High School brought Roo Spirit to Ira Cross Elementary School and Manor Middle School, igniting a blaze of enthusiasm among students who are gearing up for the annual STAAR tests starting this week.
The drumline and Roo Football team greeted students at Ira Cross Elementary with high-fives as the students made their way into the cafeteria, creating an atmosphere charged with positivity and motivation.
The cafeteria was filled with excitement as the Roo cheer and dance teams led the room with cheers and encouragement as students chanted, “I can, I will, I must!”
The spirited afternoon didn’t stop there. The KHS drumline also made a visit to Manor Middle School, where they brought the "STAAR Wars" theme to life with a pep rally that was bursting with games, cheers, Jedi battles, and even a few pies to the faces of Principal Bell and Assistant Principals, Clark, and Tindall.
The students roared with excitement as their beloved teacher, Mr. Crockett serenaded them with an original song, inspiring them to shine like stars and give their best effort on the upcoming tests.
With spirits soaring high, students were ready to shine like stars and conquer the STAAR Wars with resounding success.
