Killeen ISD Special Olympics student-athletes compete at STATE

Eighteen Killeen ISD Special Olympic Athletes competed in the Special Olympics Texas State Games this past weekend, May 12-15, in San Antonio at Morgan’s Wonderland.

Special Olympics student-athletesRepresentatives from Harker Heights, Shoemaker, Ellison, and Killeen competed against other Special Olympic programs from across the state. Athletes were able to meet and greet athletes of all ages with competition and fun.

Athletes competed in the 200-meter run, 100-meter run, 4x100 relay, shot put, running, and standing long jump.
