Killeen ISD celebrates KCC FFA stars at Texas FFA Convention

Killeen ISD proudly announces that 15 outstanding students from the Killeen ISD Career Center’s FFA chapter have been awarded the Lone Star FFA Degree at the 2025 Texas FFA Convention — the highest honor the Texas FFA Association presents to high school members.  FFA Lone Star

This prestigious accolade reflects the students’ hard work, leadership and commitment throughout their FFA journey, marking them as some of the brightest stars in KISD’s agricultural education programs. 

Earning the Lone Star FFA Degree requires: 

  • More than 1,000 hours dedicated to a Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) 

  • At least 25 hours of community service 

  • Participation in 10 or more activities beyond the local level 

  • Three to four years of active FFA membership 

  • Documented leadership skills at multiple levels
