After an exciting all-Killeen ISD matchup decided by just five points last week between Killeen and Ellison, another intra-district encounter that is sure to keep fans on their feet is on tap during Week 3 of the high school football season.

Shoemaker (2-0) is the designated home team against the Eagles (1-1) at 7:30 p.m. Friday inside Leo Buckley Stadium, and with Killeen, Harker Heights and Chaparral on the road, it’s the lone contest in town this week.

Killeen (0-2) kicks off the slate with a Thursday night road tilt against Lake Belton scheduled for 7 p.m. at Belton High School’s Tiger Field.

On Friday night, the Knights (2-0) are on the road against Dripping Springs (2-0) and the Bobcats (2-0) take on host Lampasas. Both are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. starts.
