Ten Killeen ISD student-athletes on Thursday earned placement on the Texas High School Coaches Association Academic All-State Team.
The THSCA announces the honors six times throughout each school year, recognizing senior student-athletes, trainers and managers in 14 sports who’ve excelled in the classroom.

According to the THSCA, the organization takes into account each students’ GPA, class rank, SAT and/or ACT score, and they receive points based on each. The total number of points they receive determines which team they are placed.
