Killeen ISD announced today that Miguel Timarky will serve as interim principal of Killeen High School as the district begins its search for the campus’s next permanent principal.
Timarky, a longtime educator and campus leader, brings more than 20 years of experience in public education. He previously served five years as principal of Copperas Cove High School and currently leads Pathways Academic Campus in Killeen ISD. He is known for building strong teams, supporting academic achievement and expanding opportunities for students.
“This interim assignment will ensure stable and consistent leadership for Killeen High School as Dr. Treviño prepares to transition at the end of the semester,” Superintendent Dr. King Davis said. “Mr. Timarky’s experience and leadership style make him a strong fit for the campus during this period of change.”
Timarky will begin working with the Killeen High School leadership team and outgoing principal Dr. Kara Treviño next week to support a smooth transition.
