KISD athletes running at KISD Relays

Track aShoemaker relay teamnd field athletes put their best feet forward on a warm and windy Thursday afternoon, turning in top times and marks at the 2026 Killeen ISD Relays.

Hosting Temple, Austin LBJ and San Antonio Reagan in front of supportive fans, many of them camped underneath umbrellas for an extra bit of shade, Chaparral, Ellison, Harker Heights, Killeen and Shoemaker athletes shined in a multitude of ways at Leo Buckley Stadium, where hard-working coaches, staff members and volunteers helped run a smooth, successful and entertaining meet.

 

The Grey Wolves earned the team title, edging the Knights by six points in the final standings. Reagan took first on the girls side.

In all, KISD athletes accumulated 19 gold medals in the varsity competition.

4x200 relay: Shoemaker

CHS pole vaulterThe Harker Heights girls and boys JV teams were first, as were the Shoemaker boys freshmen.
