Families interested in Manor Middle School are invited to attend a series of upcoming town hall meetings hosted by Third Future Schools to learn more about the campus and plans for the 2026-27 school year.

Earlier this year, the Killeen ISD Board of Trustees approved Third Future Schools as the 2026-2029 Texas Partnership operating partner for Manor Middle School following a formal Call for Quality Schools process and a comprehensive evaluation of potential partners.

Under the Texas Partnership model, Third Future Schools will manage the day-to-day operations of the campus, while Killeen ISD will continue to provide oversight and hold the operator accountable to performance expectations. The partnership is intended to accelerate academic improvement and strengthen student outcomes.

The town hall meetings will give families an opportunity to hear directly from Third Future Schools leadership, learn more about the transition and ask questions about what to expect for the 2026-27 school year.

All sessions will cover the same information, and families may attend the date that works best for them.

Meetings will be held in person at Manor Middle School, 1700 S. WS Young Drive, with a virtual attendance option also available via Zoom at this link.

Scheduled meeting dates are:

  • April 30

  • May 5

  • May 7

  • May 13

  • May 21

All meetings will begin at 6 p.m.

Manor Middle School has received low state accountability ratings in recent years, and the partnership is designed to support stronger academic performance and improved student outcomes over time.

Families are encouraged to attend one of the sessions in person or virtually to learn more and ask questions.
