Killeen ISD has expanded its Rooms communication platform to all campuses, giving every family and teacher a consistent, secure way to stay connected and support student success.
Originally piloted at two campuses, Rooms is now available districtwide through the Killeen ISD mobile app. The expansion ensures that families across the district can connect directly with teachers and stay informed.
Rooms is now the primary way families and teachers communicate in Killeen ISD — bringing messages, class updates and announcements into one place.
This move follows feedback from families who asked for a simpler, more consistent way to connect with schools. Rooms is part of the district’s ongoing effort to listen, respond and make communication more accessible for every family.
With Rooms, parents and guardians can message teachers, view announcements and keep up with classroom information without needing multiple platforms. Families with more than one student can easily switch between children within the app.
The platform also includes automatic translation in more than 90 languages, helping ensure every family can communicate in the language they’re most comfortable using.
Families are encouraged to check Rooms regularly for updates and messages from their child’s teachers.
Getting Started with Rooms
