Killeen ISD students in grades 4–12 can receive free academic tutoring throughout the 2026–2027 school year at the KISD Tutoring Center.
State-certified teachers provide individualized support in reading, writing and math, including homework help, STAAR and EOC preparation, math fact fluency and help with challenging concepts.
Student success is the work, and Killeen ISD remains laser-focused on teaching and learning. The Tutoring Center provides students with additional support to strengthen their skills, build confidence and get to the next level.
Hours and Location
The Tutoring Center is located at Jackson Professional Learning Center, 902 Rev. R.A. Abercrombie Drive in Killeen.
Grades 4–5: Monday–Thursday, 5–7 p.m.
Grades 6–12: Monday–Thursday, 5–8 p.m.
Grades 4–12: Saturdays, 9 a.m.–noon
The Tutoring Center is open on select dates throughout the school year. Families should check the 2026–2027 Tutoring Center calendar before visiting.
What Families Need to Know
Parents or guardians of elementary and middle school students must complete a registration form the first time their student visits the Tutoring Center. For student safety, a parent or guardian must also sign the student in and out with a valid ID.
