This month, our Mavericks honored Black History Month in a BIG way! Our amazing 5th graders dove into research projects highlighting influential figures who shaped history and continue to inspire the world. 📚✨

To top it off, this past Thursday we welcomed some VERY special guests who brought history to life — including visits from Jackie Robinson, President Barack Obama, and Misty Copeland! 🩰⚾🇺🇸

Our halls were filled with learning, pride, and powerful stories of courage, leadership, and perseverance. We are so proud of our students for honoring the past and carrying these lessons into the future. 🖤✊🏽
