Killeen ISD is saddened to learn of the passing of William “Bill” Shine, a 2010 Killeen ISD Distinguished Alumni honoree.
Mr. Shine was a proud Killeen High School graduate (Class of 1963) and a longtime community leader whose life reflected service to his country, to veterans and military families, and to the people of Central Texas. Alongside his wife, Jean Shine, who served Killeen ISD as a former Trustee and Education Foundation board member, the Shine family has been known for deep civic involvement and support of causes that honored those who served.
Killeen ISD extends heartfelt condolences to the Shine family and all who are grieving this loss.
