Great job, Ms. Johnson!!

As we approach STAAR testing, we want to ensure all students are set up for success. Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we prepare for these important assessment days.
STAAR Testing Dates:
• April 7
• April 14
• April 15
• April 21
Campus Expectations for Testing Days:
Backpacks/Bags:
Backpacks and bags will not be permitted in the building on STAAR testing days.
Students may bring a lunchbox only.
Athletic Items:
Any athletic gear must be stored in the athletic locker room and locked/secured prior to the start of the school day.
Cell Phones/Electronics:
All cell phones must be secured in a Yondr pouch or turned in during morning entry.
Any cell phone not secured in a Yondr pouch or turned in during morning entry will result in an automatic referral and assignment to ISS for three days.
Lunch Procedures:
Due to the nature of testing, lunch schedules will vary and depend on when students finish testing.
Because of this, we will not be able to coordinate or predict lunch times for food drop-offs.
We strongly encourage students to bring a lunch or plan to eat school lunch on testing days.
Attendance & Early Check-Outs:
It is best practice to avoid early check-outs on STAAR testing days. Leaving early can disrupt a student’s testing session and may negatively impact their performance and overall score. We ask that appointments be scheduled outside of testing days whenever possible.
We appreciate your support in helping us maintain a focused and secure testing environment for all students. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Let’s work together to ensure our students are confident, prepared, and ready to do their best as we finish the year strong!
Go Grizzlies!
