The Grizzly A Team took on the Roadrunners in an exciting, tough, and long match losing in three sets 25-18, 23-25, and 19-25. The Grizzlies battled with great heart, hustle, and teamwork. Awesome display of tips and spikes happened at the net. Defensive players of the match were Amaya Rivera-Melendez, Alexis Guevera, Jolivia Rodgers, and Elizabeth Vandenburg. Isabella Mobley, Amari Betts-Navarro, and Nola Robinson, were sound competitors at the net offensively and defensively. Outstanding setters were Hannah Bice and Lyrrick Flowers. Top server of the match was Lyrrick Flowers with eight points. Nola Robinson added six. Isabella Mobley scored five. Railyn Coquemar added four points apiece. Other servers were Alyssa Montufar, Alexis Guevera, Sierra Brooks, Hannah Bice, and Jolivia Rodgers.
Coach Wilson is very proud of you and your caliber of play in each match. It is a privilege to be your coach.

Mrs. Cook and Mrs. Young are our specialists for Union Grove.
What do they do?

Tomorrow is Curriculum Night . We will also be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month.
They will be performances by band, theater arts and the Golden Belles.
Visit the Salsa Bar and create your own salsa and enjoy it with tortilla chips. You'll need to wash it down with some agua fresca and horchata.
As you enjoy the treats, you'll enjoy the collages of student projects, full of information they learned in class. The students and their siblings can enjoy coloring activities, face painting, photo booth and make flowers to add to Freida Kahlo's hair.
