Join the cause with the American Heart Association.
Did you know that more than 350,000 cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals each year? That’s about the same number of people who visit Disneyland in a week!
When cardiac arrests happen outside a hospital, they often require a bystander to step in and help. That’s why we are participating in 1 Week to Save a Life with the American Heart Association—to empower students with lifesaving skills.
Students are encouraged to sign up and complete the 7 lifesaving steps in Finn’s Mission. Through this experience, they’ll learn critical skills and gain the confidence to act in an emergency.
Go to www.heart.org/schools for more information or to register.

On Monday, March 2nd, Parent Liaison Mrs. Ventura, will be out near the parent pickup line, between 3pm to 3:30pm, to answer questions and chat.

Come support our UGMS Orchestra on Wednesday, March 4th from 5pm to 7pm at Sonic, corner of Rosewood Drive and E. Central Texas Expy!

The mandatory Parent Meeting is March 2nd. They will receive their try-out packet that has several documents that need to be completed/filled out before audition week.
If you have any questions, call the Fine Arts Office : 254-336-6300 or email DEBORAH.BARRICK@KILLEENISD.ORG

Students will participate in a variety of engaging activities throughout the week, including arts and crafts, gym activities, games, and more. Members will need to bring their own meals, and snacks will be provided. Registration packets are required and must be submitted by March 13, with online registration encouraged by March 11 to secure a spot.
