Morganne Davies, Assistant Fine Arts Director, Visual Art & Theatre   Ms. Davies comes to Killeen ISD as an artist, educator, and educational leader with over 15 years’ experience in arts education in both the public education and non-profit sectors.  Prior to joining the team in Killeen ISD, she served the community of Del Valle, TX as their Fine Arts and Enrichment Program coordinator.  She has taught theatre and technical theatre to students of all ages in communities in Fairfax County, VA and Texas. In addition, she has taught art history and speech at the collegiate level.

Ms. Davies is a passionate arts educational leader who seeks to improve education and transform our communities by bringing together parents, artists, students and teachers and partner organizations. She holds an MFA in Acting from the University of Tennessee and a BA in Theatre from Fordham University as well as graduate certificates in Educational Theatre and Educational Leadership. Ms. Davies is an active and participating member of Actor’s Equity, Texas Art Education, Texas Theatre Education, National Art Education, and the Educational Theatre Associations, and the American Alliance for Theatre Education. She is a certified UIL Theatre Adjudicator and Contest Manager.
