KISD Career Center CVA Students Thrive in Work-Based Learning Internships

Students in the Practicum in Agriculture - Veterinary Medical Applications (CVA) program at the Killeen ISD Career Center are making strides in their education and future careers through Work-Based Learning (WBL) internships. Under the expert guidance of Agriculture Teacher Ms. Anastasia Winters, these aspiring veterinary professionals are gaining hands-on experience while preparing for their certification exams, demonstrating exceptional dedication and hard work.
The program partners with local veterinary clinics to provide students with real-world experience in veterinary medicine. These internships allow students to apply classroom knowledge in professional settings while learning directly from industry experts. The clinics play an integral role in developing the skills and confidence of these talented students.
