Military & Family Life Counseling Services
Military Family Counseling is provided by an MFLC Counselor at our school. Some services provide are listed below.
Provides a wide range of support for military children and youth, family members and staff who work with children by:
- Engaging in activities with children and youth
- Providing behavioral interventions in classrooms to assist staff in setting and managing boundaries
- Modeling behavioral techniques and providing feedback to staff
- Being available for parents and staff to discuss interactions with children and other concerns
- Facilitating psycho-educational groups
Issues Addressed:
- School adjustment
- Deployment and separation
- Reunion adjustment
- Sibling and parent-child communication
- Behavioral concerns
- Fear, grief and loss
The campus has a military family life counselor on-site every day to help military children and their families be more successful at school. More information is available in our front office.
