• Military & Family Life Counseling Services

     

    Military Family Counseling is provided by an MFLC Counselor at our school. Some services provide are listed below.

     

    Provides a wide range of support for military children and youth, family members and staff who work with children by:

     

    • Engaging in activities with children and youth
    • Providing behavioral interventions in classrooms to assist staff in setting and managing boundaries
    • Modeling behavioral techniques and providing feedback to staff
    • Being available for parents and staff to discuss interactions with children and other concerns
    • Facilitating psycho-educational groups

     

    Issues Addressed:

     

    • School adjustment
    • Deployment and separation
    • Reunion adjustment
    • Sibling and parent-child communication
    • Behavioral concerns
    • Fear, grief and loss

     

    The campus has a military family life counselor on-site every day to help military children and their families be more successful at school. More information is available in our front office.
