Mrs. Jesenia Prado

Hello!

My name is Jesenia Prado, and I am thrilled to serve the staff, students, and families at Killeen Elementary School.

I was born and raised in New York City and this is my 22^nd year in the field of education. I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Middlebury College, my Master’s degree from Pace University in New York City, and completed the Principal Certification program at Lamar University.

I began my teaching career in New York City, where I taught ESL, Native Language Arts, and Social Studies. In 2007, I moved to Central Texas and spent the next 18 years at Audie Murphy Middle School, serving as an English Language Arts teacher as well as the English Department Lead. I later served as District Instructional Coach at Live Oak Ridge Middle School and as Campus Instructional Coach at Killeen Elementary School.

I am committed to supporting student growth, fostering strong partnerships with families, and contributing to a collaborative and inclusive school community.
