Mr. Mike Castillo

Who Am I:  Coach Mike Castillo. I have 14 years teaching experience and a combined 10 years coaching experience. I graduated from Burbank HS in San Antonio, and hold a BA in History from the University of Texas in San Antonio. I got my start in coaching in 2004 with the San Antonio Spurs Drug Free League, and continued with Floresville MS and high school basketball in 2006. I have been very proud and fortunate to have coached the Lady Patriots basketball team since 2016. I also coach Track and Field and the Patriot Golf team. Becoming a coach has been as important as teaching in the classroom, as I never have forgotten the lessons I learned as a high school athlete.  I have been very proud to call Palo Alto home for 11 years, as well as being a part of a great coaching staff.
