More Than a Dozen KISD Athletes on Announced FCA Victory Bowl Rosters

More than a dozen Killeen ISD student-athletes were announced Sunday as 2025 Heart of Texas Super CenTex Victory Bowl participants.

 

FCA coach, player poseTwo FCA playersMany of the players were introduced at a gathering Sunday inside Highland Baptist Church in Waco.

 

In all, 15 will represent KISD in the annual week-long event that merges faith, community service and competition, and takes place about one week after the selected seniors graduate.

 

In addition to the players, three coaches –– Ellison's Shirelle Givens (volleyball) and Danny Servance (football), and Killeen High's Walt Harris (basketball) –– were chosen last month to serve during the exhibition contests.

 

Everything tips off May 29 with the fourth annual boys and girls basketball games at Fairfield High School. On May 30, the 10th editions of the baseball and softball games are slated for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Wrapping up the festivities are the 12th annual volleyball match at Waco University High School and the 17th football game at Waco ISD Stadium on May 31.
