Roberta Wilson
Attendance Officer
My name is Roberta Wilson and it gives me great pleasure to start my 19th year at Killeen ISD. Starting out as a paraprofessional at Maxdale Elementary in 2004, it has been an incredible journey. During my educational path, I attended Central Texas College to obtain an Associate degree in Applied Science. After finishing my Associates, I attended Tarleton University and obtained a Bachelor of Science, Liberal Studies in 2009. I obtained my Master's in Differentiated Instructions from Concordia University in 2015. Immediately after this achievement, I enrolled in Lamar University to complete a Principal Certification Certificate. This has been a huge achievement and a rewarding experience.
Shoemaker Secondary School has been my home since 2010. I taught Life Skills for two years, PBS for six years, and Vocational Coordinator for five years, which led me to the position of Attendance Officer. Learning the hearts of students has been an amazing experience for me. In my opinion, every student, regardless of their disability, deserves the chance to learn and develop social skills through encouragement, modeling, and positive reinforcement.
A native of Louisiana, but I've resided in Texas for 25 years. I have an amazing son who attended Shoemaker and graduated in 2016. I am passionate about family and traveling to new adventures. I love attending social activities on campus and participating in the Special Angel Prom. Despite everything, I succeeded in forming a family at Shoemaker Secondary School. The Grey Wolf family is a great place and I am pleased to work with exceptional staff at Shoemaker High School.
