The KISD Investigations and School Safety Directorate (I&SS) is responsible for the coordination of the district’s safety-related efforts. This includes coordinating security and safety efforts with Ft. Cavazos officials, conducting internal audits and administrative investigations, as well as coordinating district-wide security and safety plans/programs which enhance campus safety and create a safe environment for all students, staff, and visitors.
We also coordinate the district’s Safe School Program (formally known as Crime Stoppers), and the School Crossing Guard Program (95 crossing guards).
