Today, the kindergarten classes experienced an Egg Hunt in the cafeteria. This video will highlight the hunting skills as students track down extremely well hidden eggs.

Today we have a video made with 3rd through 5th graders reciting the general Haynes goals and student aspirations into something I call the Ross Chant. This practise session took place march 29, 2023 during an afternoon practise session in the cafeteria. Amazing job students.

Today we had a great experience. The Fort Hood Lone Star Brass Band played in our gym for some of the classes. The band put on an incredible show. Great sounds and great showmanship seen and heard by all staff and students lucky enough to have the experience. Haynes announces the finalist for the Teacher of the Year for the 2022-2023 via a staff meeting after school and through a video surprise announcement. The video was created by Amber Peterson.

Coach Ross created a little gathering of students to express to parents their goals and aspirations as the school year flies by. This was presented March 2, 2023, Thursday night during a Read Across America event. The participants include students from Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st grade and second grade.

This particular afternoon, as staff was preparing for a meeting, the students decided to have an impromptu dance off while listening to tunes before the staff meeting started and they had to leave.
