The times listed below show the times that students will start going to their dismissil point before being released.
PK – 2:45Kindergarten – 2:501st – 2:502nd/3rd – 2:554th/5th – 3:00Students in grades 1 - 5 will leave their classrooms at their scheduled dismissal time and walk around the building to drop off bus riders. Then they will head to the front of the school to release students to parents after checking their IDs.Students who walk with a sibling will be released once all siblings are together.

KISD Tutoring Center Can Help You With Math, Writing and Reading! Opens August 15, 2023!
Students in grades 4-12 are offered free assistance with homework, individualized tutoring, STAAR & EOC preparation, math fact fluency, hard-to-learn math concepts, as well as, writing and reading help at the Killeen ISD Tutoring Center located in the JPLC building.

Killeen ISD Welcomes New Superintendent
The Killeen Independent School District Board of Trustees officially welcomed Superintendent Dr. Jo Ann Fey to the district on Monday during a Special Called Meeting.

Killeen ISD Names New Police Chief
Erik Hydorn will be the new Chief of Police for the Killeen ISD Police Department. Hydorn is currently a Lieutenant in the department where he manages the organization’s operational needs, including the K9 unit, budget, equipment, and creates operational plans for large district events.
