Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Amy Goodman

My name is Amy Goodman, and I am proud to be a Meadows Elementary Roadrunner!  I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas A&M University and my Masters of Education in Mathematics from Texas Wesleyan University.  I am certified to teach Early Childhood through eighth grade all subjects.  In addition, I have an English as a Second Language certification.  I have been an educator for 17 years, having taught students in Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Grades.  This is my fourth year with the Killeen Independent School District.

I have a true passion for working with young learners!  Helping each child progress in all areas of development - academic, social, language, and motor - is a challenge that I am honored to accept daily.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, enjoyable environment.  I believe students should have someone who will advocate for them, be their role model, their biggest cheerleader, all the while preparing them to be outstanding and productive citizens.

I have been married for 17 years to my husband, Keith, and we have one fantastic son, Charlie, who is 13 years old.  In my spare time, I love to watch my son play baseball, football, and golf.  I also enjoy camping, road trips, and playing with my two dogs, Bleu and Bella.

I look forward to working together as a partner in each student’s growth and development!
