Hi! My name is Eddie Benitez. I graduated from Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri with a BA in Business Administration. I became a Special Ed. Resource Teacher for two years at Harker Heights Elementary School. After earning a MA in counseling from Webster University, Missouri, I became a certified school counselor at Peebles Elementary School, Killeen, Texas for 10 years. Furthermore, I worked for two years at Dr. Joseph A. Fowler as an elementary school counselor. In total, I have been a school counselor for 12 years at the elementary school. I truly enjoy working with students in helping students reach their highest performance in academic and social skills.

I am also the military liaison officer for Dr. Joseph A. Fowler elementary school. As a military liaison officer, I coordinate with our Thunder Squadron 3/3rd Cavalry Regiment on Fort Hood for support in school activities.  I also coordinate with key personnel such as administration for registration and enrollment of military students and connect the military families to the Family Life counselor or school counselors for counseling services, as well as provide community resources. The goal is establishing a healthy and positive relationship between the military community and the Fowler community.
