Dr. Wendy Haider

Welcome back for the 2024-2025 school year!  I am honored to lead and collaborate with parents, students, and staff as we continue the tradition of excellence here at Nolanville Elementary School.  For the last 28 years, I have been an educator in the Killeen Independent School District.  As an educator, I am committed to ensuring students reach individual academic and personal goals that will help them soar to become an active, successful citizen in this world. 

At Nolanville, we are focused on igniting passion for learning in students with meaningful, challenging opportunities that empower them to excel towards achieving their next level of success.  All teachers and staff at Nolanville are dedicated and ready to support students in becoming responsible, productive citizens.  We will encourage students to have a growth mindset as they endeavor to be problem-solvers, critical thinkers, innovators, and build their collaboration skills. These 21st century skills will empower students to be successful in college or the workplace as they become independent young adults.

We are eager to collaborate with parents as partners in your child’s education. Nolanville is also blessed to have many volunteers and a phenomenal PTA supporting and encouraging our young learners in classrooms and at school-wide events.  During this school year, we invite you to actively engage with us to ensure your child reaches his or her maximum potential.  We aim to partner with you regularly with you through school wide events such as Meet the Teacher, parent conferences, NES News Flash, emails, and phone calls. Through working as a team, I know we can provide an enriching, positive, and successful learning journey for our students this year.

Through collaboration, encouragement, and a focus on striving for academic and personal success for all students, we will continue to aim high for EXCELLENCE!
