Mrs. Lovell

Hello, Grizzly Family!  Shout out for the 2023-2024 School Year! My name is Janet Lovell and I am the Campus Facilitator for Special Programs at Union Grove Middle School. I have lived in the Central Texas area for over fifteen years and I am excited to  have the opportunity to be in Killeen ISD. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwest Texas State University and my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University. Over the course of my career, I have been an elementary and secondary teacher for grades 1 - 6, a Reading Specialist, a teacher leader, a co-teacher, and an Assistant Principal. Being the Campus Facilitator, I facilitate special programs and support services at Union Grove Middle School to best assist students in their educational and transitional goals. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Michael Lovell, who is a middle school teacher here in Killeen ISD.  We have four amazing sons, three of which are married and a beautiful granddaughter! 

I look forward to watching Union Grove students grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally over the course of their middle school years and celebrating the many accomplishments and success stories.
