New To District Student

Online Registration and Enrollment 
New-to-District Student 
For 2020-2021School Year 

A child enrolling at Killeen ISD for the first time is a 'New to District Student' and may use the online New Student Registration Form to register for the 2020-2021 school year. 

Before You Begin…

  • Please note that you will be required to create a new account to start the registration process. This basic account information includes your name, email, password, and security questions.
  • You will have the opportunity to upload documentation related to your child’s registration directly through the online form. Additional documentation and/or original copies of electronically-provided items may still be required by the child’s home campus starting Monday, August 5th.
     Documentation that can be provided online includes:
  • Birth Certificate *
  • Proof of Residency **
  • Immunizations
  • Current Academic Records
  • Parent ID (Not Military ID)
  • Court Order/Custody
  • SPED/Disability Program Documentation
  • A New Student Registration form must be submitted for each student in your family. Once you have successfully submitted the form for your first student, you will have the opportunity to begin another from the confirmation page.

* Alternative documentation to establish proof of identity and age for a student:

  • Driver's License
  • Passport
  • Military ID (military ID cards CANNOT be reproduced and uploaded)
  • Statement of child's name and date of birth for school admission from the Texas Dept. of State Health Services
  • Documents from Texas Dept. of Family and Protective Services that indicate student's name and age
  • U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services documentation
  • Adoption records
  • Legal/court documents that establish identity and age
  • Hospital birth record
  • Church baptismal record


** Proof of Residency:

  • Acceptable: current utility bill (within last 30 days), current residential lease/contract, homeowner/rental insurance policy, etc.
  • Unacceptable: driver's license, cell phone, credit card or bank statements or any other documents not directly tied to a permanent residence
