Regional meets for swimming and wrestling are Friday and Saturday, and Killen ISD will be well represented at four locations.
The top two swimmers in each event at the Class 5A Region VI at Texas A&M’s Rec Center Natatorium in College Station and the Class 6A Region II meet at LISD Westside Aquatic Center in Lewisville advance to the UIL state championships Feb. 23-24 at University of Texas.
The top four wrestlers in each weight class at the 6A Region IV tournament at North East ISD’s Littleton Gymnasium and the 5A Region III tournament at Anna High School move on to the UIL state championships Feb. 16-17 at Berry Center in Cypress.
