Killeen ISD’s PreK and Kindergarten Registration Roundup concluded today with an exciting turnout of families ready to kick off their child’s educational journey. Held at the Pratt Learning & Leadership Center, the three-day event welcomed parents and guardians eager to register their children for the 2025–2026 school year.
Throughout the week, KISD’s dedicated staff assisted families in completing enrollment, answering questions about district services like School Nutrition, Transportation, Special Education, and Health Services.
Parents also had the opportunity to explore ESL and Bilingual Dual-Language Immersion programs and connect with KISD’s Parenting Specialist and Liaisons, who offered resources, crafts, and valuable insight into parenting classes available through the district.
For those who were unable to attend, KISD encourages families to visit their local campus during the week to register their child for PreK or Kindergarten.
Registration is open, and staff are available to guide parents through the process.
KISD proudly offers free full-day PreK3, PreK4, and Kindergarten programs that provide high-quality, hands-on learning. The district’s early childhood education programs are designed to support children’s growth in key areas: cognitive, social-emotional, language, and physical development. Students also enjoy “specials” like art, music, and physical education, helping to spark curiosity and build confidence from an early age.
