The Ellison, Chaparral and Harker Heights boys soccer teams notched victories Tuesday night, when the Ellison girls picked up a point against second-place Lake Belton and the Killeen and Chaparral girls played to a draw.
22-5A boys
Connor Bertle and Deen Abdelgawad scored one goal each for the Eagles, who defeated Lake Belton, 2-0, on the road. Noah Apollo and Johnny Zamudio were credited with the assists.
At Leo Buckley Stadium, Adrian Suarez Cortes tallied twice to lead the Chaparral Bobcats over the Killeen Kangaroos, 2-0.

Mekhi Carwise and Frank Hooker netted the goals in the Harker Heights Knights’ 2-0 victory over Copperas Cove.

A converted penalty kick by Riley Sims was vital in the Ellison Lady Eagles’ 1-1 draw with the Lady Broncos, while Killeen Lady Roos keeper Julissa Martinez made 18 saves in a defensive battle against the Chaparral Lady Bobcats that ended 0-0.
