Samone Coward grew up in the neighboring town Copperas Cove, graduated in 2008, and went on to attend Sam Houston State University. Ms. Coward has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Special Education and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Sam Houston State University.

She spent her entire 7-year teaching career at Killeen High School and within those years was able to grow as an educator, coach, mentor, and colleague. While teaching at KHS, Ms. Coward earned her second master's in educational administrative leadership from Walden University.

Ms. Coward served as the Campus Instructional Specialist at Charles Patterson Middle School for 2 years. She is excited to continue to grow as a campus leader by mentoring the students and future educators at Chaparral High School.
